The Marine Aquarium focuses on rehabilitation and education and speaking of dolphins, you may be greeted by any number of six-foot tall dolphins -115 of them in fact, that comprise the Clearwater Dolphins Trail which extends from Tarpon Springs to St. Petersburg.
If shopping’s your bag (and even if it’s not) head on over to Westfield Countryside Mall. With 180+ retailers, twelve movie theaters, an indoor ice-skating rink and Restaurant Row, it has just about everything you need for a day of fun. Another “Must- See”: the free nighty Sunset Celebration at Pier 60 which includes local artisans, street performers, musicians and terrific live entertainment.
